The Tamenga Swimrun is a unique experience that unites the thrill of running with the tranquility of swimming. We will embark on an incredible journey between the banks of the Tâmega River, starting at the Entre-os-Rios marina. As we go upstream, we will be presented with stunning scenery as we run and swim along the banks of the river, passing through the municipalities of Penafiel and Marco de Canaveses.
We will visit the village of Rio de Moinhos, where we will be able to enjoy the landscape from the viewpoint of the Capela do Senhor dos Remédios. There, we will also be able to see the path we traveled and find out where the finish line is.
The course is challenging, but the reward is incredible. We will pass through crystal clear waters and have the opportunity to swim in the midst of breathtaking scenery. We will feel the adrenaline rush as we run and the feeling of peace as we swim.
The journey ends in the wonderful landscape of the Parque de Lazer de Alpendorada e Matos in Marco de Canaveses.
